Oilers Goalie Shines in Crunch Time

The Edmonton Oilers have had a tough time with their goaltending this season.

Stuart Skinner, the team’s main goalie, has been just okay during the regular season and hasn’t done much better in the playoffs. He’s had some really bad games that made things hard for the Oilers. But sometimes, he pulls through when it matters most.

When the team is close to being kicked out or has a chance to win big, Skinner steps up. Going into Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final on Friday night, where they face elimination again, he’s got an amazing record: 9 wins and no losses with a .947 save percentage in Games 4-7 of each playoff series.
