NHL Same-Game Parlay: Kyle Connor Leads Jets-Blues SGP Picks

The Winnipeg Jets are just one win away from knocking out the St. Louis Blues, but they’ll need to do something neither team has managed yet in this series – win on the road.

Game 6 kicks off Friday night in St. Louis, with the Blues fighting to stay alive and force a Game 7.

The home team has won every single game so far. That’s good news for St. Louis, who are slight favorites to win tonight at -121. The Jets, despite their series lead, are +101 underdogs.

Oddsmakers are expecting a tight, defensive battle, with the over/under set at just 5.5 goals. The under is favored at -130.

Kyle Connor has been on fire for the Jets this series. The star winger, who put up nearly 100 points in the regular season, already has four goals and four assists against the Blues.

But betting experts aren’t convinced he’ll keep up that pace tonight.

The SportsLine Projection Model, which runs 10,000 simulations of each game, expects Connor to have a quiet night. He’s gone under 1.5 points in four of his last five games.

The model’s also predicting tough nights for a couple other key players:

  • Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey, who hasn’t recorded a point in his last five road games against winning teams
  • Blues forward Pavel Buchnevich, despite his hat trick in Game 3

If the Blues can extend the series tonight, Game 7 would be Sunday in Winnipeg. But the Jets are hoping to end things here and avoid that trip back home.

The puck drops at 8 PM Eastern.
