The Florida Panthers are headed back to the Stanley Cup Finals after pulling off another dramatic playoff victory.
Down early against the Carolina Hurricanes, the Panthers roared back with two goals in just 30 seconds during the second period. They went on to win 5-3, clinching the Eastern Conference Finals for the second time in three years.
It’s starting to feel like déjà vu for the Hurricanes when they face Matthew Tkachuk. The Panthers’ star forward, who broke Carolina’s hearts with two game-winners in their 2023 conference finals matchup, was back at it again.
This marks Florida’s third straight trip to the Finals – pretty incredible for a team that used to struggle just to make the playoffs.
