Miller addresses troubling Pettersson relationship

The drama between the Vancouver Canucks’ star players just hit a new level, with J.T. Miller finally snapping back at reporters about his supposed beef with Elias Pettersson.

“You guys in a sense have created this thing,” Miller fired back during Sunday’s post-practice interview. “Am I bothered? No, you guys are just wasting your time.”

He wasn’t done there.

When pressed about the constant buzz around their relationship, Miller offered a simple solution: “I honestly don’t care. You guys can talk about it all you want. I can bring out Petey, and we can do the interview together if that will make you guys happy.”

The tension in Vancouver’s locker room has become impossible to ignore. Just a day earlier, Pettersson stormed out of his media scrum, clearly fed up with the same old questions.

It’s turned into Vancouver’s hottest sports soap opera.

But here’s the thing – while Miller’s pointing fingers at the media for stirring the pot, neither player has done much to shut down the rumors. They’ve both stayed pretty tight-lipped, which only makes people wonder more.

You’d think a quick joint interview or even just hanging out together at practice would kill all this talk. But it hasn’t happened.

The fans are desperate for any sign that their two stars are actually getting along. Until they see that, people will keep talking – and that’s the last thing the Canucks need during what could be a really promising season.

For now, the drama continues. And in hockey-crazy Vancouver, that’s not going away anytime soon.
