Trevor Zegras got hurt in a game and won’t be playing for at least a week. The team decided to put him on the injured list because of a problem with his lower body, and they brought Brock McGinn back to play instead. During Wednesday’s game, Zegras had to leave early and was seen struggling to walk properly.
No new details have come out about how bad Zegras’ injury is, but it’s clear he won’t be in the next match since he missed practice on Friday morning. If he’s out for just the minimum time, he’ll skip two games. This break might help him recharge since he’s only scored four goals and ten points in 24 games this season.
McGinn’s return isn’t the only good news for Anaheim. Robby Fabbri surprised everyone by showing up at practice even though he’s still recovering from an injury that was supposed to take six weeks. Also, Leo Carlsson was spotted practicing too, although he wore a non-contact jersey.
Injury Updates:
Anaheim has faced quite a few injuries in the first part of this NHL season, but things are looking up now. Fans might think it’s exciting that their favorite team is getting healthier just as Jacob Trouba joins them from the New York Rangers.
With all these players coming back soon, Anaheim could soon have a full roster again. What do you think about their chances?
