Bo Horvat isn’t holding back about what really went down with J.T. Miller in Vancouver’s locker room.
The former Canucks captain opened up about the drama that had been swirling around Miller before he was finally shipped off to the New York Rangers yesterday.
It’s been a long time coming. The trade rumors had been hanging over the team like a dark cloud all season, affecting pretty much everything the Canucks did on and off the ice.
“You could feel the tension,” Horvat said. “These things have a way of impacting the whole team, even when you try not to let them.”
The deal finally puts an end to months of speculation that had become a major distraction in Vancouver’s locker room.
For the Canucks, it’s a chance to move forward and rebuild team chemistry without the constant trade chatter in the background.
