Bieber, Carrell Lead LA Strong Benefit Hockey Game for Wildfire Victims

Hollywood’s biggest names are hitting the ice this Sunday to help victims of the Los Angeles wildfires, with Justin Bieber and Steve Carell leading an all-star charity hockey tournament.

The Los Angeles Kings and NHL are bringing together celebrities, hockey legends, and first responders for “Skate for LA Strong” at Crypto.com Arena.

It’s not just about the hockey – Snoop Dogg and Will Ferrell will be coaching from the bench.

The event features four teams competing in a single-elimination tournament, each mixing Hollywood stars with NHL alumni and local heroes from the LAFD, LAcoFD, and LAPD.

Hockey Hall of Famer Mark Messier and former NHL star P.K. Subban will show the celebrities how it’s done on the ice. They’ll be joined by Kings legends Jeff Carter, Jarrett Stoll, and current GM Rob Blake.

The celebrity roster reads like a Hollywood party guest list:
• Actor Taylor Kitsch
• Actor Ross Lynch
• Former USC quarterback Matt Leinart
• Baseball Hall of Famer Joe Mauer

The coaching matchups are just as impressive:
• Team Black: Snoop Dogg and Will Ferrell
• Team Red: Vince Vaughn and Cobie Smoulders
• Team Blue: Danny DeVito and Al Michaels
• Team White: Hannah Stocking and Andrew Whitworth

Between periods, fans will enjoy performances by Kaskade, Jordan Davis, and Lauren Spencer-Smith.

The Kings are making sure the event reaches those who need it most – they’re giving free tickets to first responders, wildfire victims, community leaders, and season ticket holders.

Want to help? You can make donations through the Kings’ website to benefit LA Strong.

The action starts at 6 p.m. ET this Sunday, with ESPN2 broadcasting live from Crypto.com Arena. Fans can also stream the event on fubo.
